What do I need on my final exam?
Enter what you've scored so far and how much of the module it's worth, and see the mark you need on everything that's left.
How it's worked out
Your module mark is the weighted average of every assessment. If you have 64% on coursework worth 40%, that's already 25.6 of your 100 marks. To finish on 70% you need another 44.4 from the exam's 60, which is 74%.
The formula is: needed = (target × 100 − mark so far × weight so far) ÷ weight remaining.
