PredictMyGrade uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. Essential ones are always on because the site can't work without them. Analytics is optional and stays off unless you allow it.

Essential cookies

These don't need your consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.

Preferences stored in your browser

These are kept only on your device (in browser storage, not sent to us):

Your cookie choice: asked again after 12 months.
Light or dark theme, compact dashboard view, and which dashboard sections, cards and tabs you had open.
Study planner view and the last assistant tip you were shown.
Reflection notes you type on the GCSE and College pages. They are never sent to us, so they aren't in your data download. They're cleared when you sign out, unless you tick Keep these notes on this device.
Your Welcome page summary, kept for the current browser tab so the page loads faster, and removed when you close the tab.

Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Optional analytics

We don't use analytics at the moment, so there's nothing optional to agree to and we don't show a cookie banner. If we ever add analytics, it will stay off until you allow it, and we'll ask first.

Other websites

When you sign in with Google, GitHub or Microsoft, or pay through Lemon Squeezy, you're taken to their site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. We don't set any advertising or social media cookies.

Changing your choice

Only essential cookies are in use, so there's nothing to change. More detail on how we handle data is in our Privacy Policy.
